NKCI worked with Kajima to contruct portions of the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway for the Bases Conversion and Development Authority.
At 93 kilometers, the four-lane highway is the country's longest expressway, linking the Clark Special Economic Zone, the Subic Bay Freeport Zone, the Central Techno Park in Tarlac, and the Bataan Technology Park.
Roads, highways and bridges are important channels to progress. These infrastructures could pave the development of far-flung communities, NKCI provides a full range of services to support the development and construction of these projects.
The Binocyahan-Pinamitinan project in Samar is a prime example of
the company's capability to innovate in adapting to challenging working
conditions.
The project covered a 17 km stretch of road networks consisting of
highways and bridges some of which were adjacent to the Pacific Ocean. Work required structural excavation, pipe bedding foundation, pre
compact embankment fill, batchplant operations, armour rock removals,
formworks, pile driving, design and implementation of wave breakers.
NKCI is currently constructing an interchange to connect Porac and Floridablanca in Pampanga to the SCTEX, to enhance the town's accessibility, spur development and stimulate economic growth via tourism. Floridablanca is home to the Basa Air Base.
